June 20, 2015 - The St. Marys River crested yesterday afternoon at 19.83’. As of 6 a.m., flood waters are down more than an inch. Flood waters on the Fairfield Ditch receded more than 2” since yesterday afternoon.

Roads closed this week because of high water remain closed.

Sand remains available to residents wanting to protect their property. Bags are provided but residents will need to bring their own shovel. Sand is available at Portage Middle School, 3521 Taylor Street, and at the Southwest Conservation Club, 5703 Bluffton Road.

We thank the nearly 400 volunteers who helped with sandbagging this week. At this time, we are not asking for volunteers.
