December 17, 2016 - City of Fort Wayne Street Department crews have been placing salt and sand on neighborhood streets today and will continue doing so through the night.
Last night’s freezing rain coupled with cold temperatures is causing icy conditions on many neighborhood streets. Slick conditions may continue until temperatures warm up and motorists should use caution.
Residents who are able to park off-street are encouraged to do so to allow trucks to get through narrow neighborhood streets.
