 Superior Street Closure - Rev. 2-12-16

Please be advised that beginning Thursday February 11, 2016 Superior Street will be closed to through traffic at Fulton Street, west of Superior Circle.  This closure will allow city contracted crews the ability to repair a damaged sewer line under the pavement.  T-E Incorporated will be doing the work and weather permitting is anticipating the road will re-open to through traffic on Monday February 15, 2016.  There will be a marked detour for this closure using Van Buren Street, Main Street and Fairfield Avenue.  T-E Incorporated will be responsible for the placement and maintenance of all construction signs and barricades in the work zone.  For further information or for problems that may develop contact the Traffic Engineering Department at 427-1172.

Brooklyn Avenue Closure - Revised

Please be advised that on Friday January 29, 2016 Brooklyn Avenue between Taylor Street and Brown Street will be closed to through traffic. At this time it is expected that Taylor Street will re-open to through traffic under lane restrictions.  This closure will be to allow crews to install storm pipe to continue part of the Taylor Hale Phase 2 construction project for City Utilities Engineering.  Atlas Construction will be doing the work and weather permitting is anticipating work will be completed on March 7, 2016.  There will be a marked detour for this closure using Taylor Street, Freeman Street and Covington Roads.  Atlas Construction will be responsible for the placement and maintenance of all construction signs and barricades in the work zone.  For further information or for problems that may develop contact the Traffic Engineering Department at 427-1172.


Tecumseh Street Bridge Closure

Please be advised Tecumseh St. will be closed at the bridge over the Maumee River, just south of Edgewater Avenue.  The closure is anticipated to be January 18, 2016 to July 1, 2016. There will be a marked detour for this project using either Wayne Street or Berry Street,  Anthony Boulevard, and either Lake Avenue or Columbia Avenue.  The closure will allow the contractor, Primco Inc., to complete the rehabilitation of the bridge.  Primco Inc. will be responsible for placement and maintenance of all warning signs and barricades.  For further information or for problems that may develop contact the Allen County Highway Department at 449-7369, or the City Traffic Engineering Department at 427-1172.

Harrison Street Closure   **Click Here for Map Detail**

Please be advised that for safety reasons beginning Monday January 19, 2015 Harrison Street will be closed to northbound traffic between the southern midblock of Wayne Street and Berry Street. Harrison Street will continue to remain closed to southbound traffic between Berry Street and Wayne Street.  This closure will be for the Ash Skyline Plaza and Skyline Garage construction for the 2016 calendar year.  Vehicular traffic will be maintained for local businesses from the alley between Berry and Wayne heading north on Harrison towards Berry Street.  Pedestrian traffic will have access along the sidewalk on the east side of Harrison.  Weigand Construction will be doing the work and will be responsible for the maintenance of all traffic control devices in the work zone.  For further information or for problems that may develop contact the Traffic Engineering Department at 427-1172.
