September 10, 2024 - Mayor Sharon Tucker continues to communicate with the Fort Wayne UNITED Steering Committee to reach a resolution on the items surrounding Fort Wayne UNITED, which includes the Ten Point Coalition.
Mayor Tucker has offered to bring the Ten Point Coalition back on a part-time basis as donation/grant funded employees of the City of Fort Wayne. Mayor Tucker is waiting to hear back from the Steering Committee regarding the offer/recommendation to bring the Coalition back.
Over the past several weeks, Mayor Tucker and her administration have been reviewing the Fort Wayne UNITED initiative and related programming. The review has focused on examining policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the protection of the individuals involved in the effort, city government as a whole, and city taxpayers.
