November 27, 2023 - The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division will host their next Neighborhood Presidents Meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at Citizens Square in the City Council Chambers located on the Garden Level. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods’ Facebook page.
The evening's topics include “Historic Preservation, Tools and Resources for Neighborhoods.” The presentation will feature Creager Smith and Nate Lefever City Historic Preservation & Culture staff, and Connie Haas Zuber, Executive Director of ARCH, Inc. There will also be a presentation by Captain Dan Ingram of the Fort Wayne Police Department about the School Crossing Guard Program that is seeking applicants.
Neighborhood association leaders are encouraged to register their association with the City to be considered active at www.fortwayneneighborhoods.org. Registered neighborhoods receive updates from various City departments and are eligible for grant opportunities by completing the short registration.
