Session 4 of the Late Night Basketball League begins Saturday, October 21, 2017. The league focuses on providing teens and young adults with a positive, structured and safe environment while exposing them to much more than basketball. See the flyer here.

Everyone is invited to a series of FREE Community Unity Nights in August. Residents and families are invited to drop in for a community dinner, games and prizes for the kids, and a neighborhood safety forum. It’s a great chance for neighbors to gather together to meet, greet and eat, as well as learn about how our police department is engaging with residents to keep our neighborhoods safe.

The events will be held at Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Community Centers throughout August:

August 16, 6 – 8 p.m., Weisser Community Center, 802 Eckert St.

August 23, 6 – 8 p.m., Jennings Recreation Center, 1330 McCulloch St. and

August 30, 6 – 8 p.m., Cooper Community Center, 2300 Clinton & Creighton.

This free program is hosted by Fort Wayne UNITED, the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department, the Fort Wayne Police Department, Fort Wayne United and B96.9.
