March 28, 2018 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department today celebrated the placement of two new fire trucks. The department conducted a traditional "wet down" and "push in" ceremony.
Truck 1 and Truck 12 are a 2018 Pierce Arrow XT 95' platform that is 46' 8" long and 10' 10" tall which will clear every overpass in the city. They have a 525hp Detroit diesel engine and 2000 GPM capacity pump. The new rigs have a seating capacity of 6.
