June 8, 2021 - Fort Wayne City Utilities was selected as the fourth best tasting water at the Berkley Springs International Water Tasting, this past weekend.
City Utilities' fourth-place finish was in the municipal water category. Judges use similar guidelines to a wine tasting. They rate the clear appearance, the lack of aroma, a light feeling in the mouth, and a great, clean taste that makes you want another sip.
There was a tie for first in the municipal water category between Rossarden, Tasmania, Australia and Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
