July 5, 2022 - Mayor Tom Henry’s office today announced that two delegations from Plock, Poland will be visiting Fort Wayne beginning tomorrow. One of the delegations, which includes Plock’s mayor, will stay until July 11, while the second delegation will stay until July 17.
Fort Wayne and Plock have been sister cities for 32 years.
This year’s visit will focus on social and recreational activities. Some of the highlights include walking with Mayor Henry and City of Fort Wayne employees in the Three Rivers Festival Parade, attending a Fort Wayne TinCaps game, Wisla Dance Ensemble performances at various locations, an anniversary celebration dinner, and a visit to the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.
Wisla’s performance on July 14 at the Foellinger Theatre is free and open to the public. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.

The focus on learning and citizen diplomacy is to be commended,” said Mayor Henry. “Fort Wayne and Plock share a commitment to making our cities and countries as places that give back and think of others.
