November 1, 2022 - Ride Citilink for free on Election Day, November 8th, this year.

In sponsorship with AARP Indiana, we will be having a fare-free day to ride public transportation so that way our community feels that their voice can be heard at the polling locations this year.

"Voting is a constitutional right that AARP Indiana believes every eligible person should exercise,” said Emily Gorman, AARP Indiana’s Director of Community Engagement. “Encouraging people to vote is a cornerstone of our work in Fort Wayne. This partnership is just one piece of a sustained effort to make it easier to understand when, where, and how to vote. We’re proud to partner with Citilink to provide free fares to riders on Election Day.”

Find your polling location here: Polling Location Information - Allen County Election Board (allencountyinvoters.gov) and please contact Pecola Trice, Outreach Coordinator/Travel Trainer at Citilink, at 260-265-1753 to plan the routes and trip you need to make to ride public transportation to vote. “

As a resident of Allen County, IN you deserve the choice to have a voice in who your elected officials are as the most basic act of citizenship. Citilink is proud to provide our community with access to basic necessities – food, health, housing, employment, and education, and this certainly includes the right to vote. We encourage you to ride public transportation on November 8th, 2022 to vote” shares John Metzinger, General Manager/CEO of Citilink.
