September 14, 2023 - The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division today announced that beginning Monday, September 18, traffic patterns will change at the intersection of East State Boulevard and Crescent Avenue, through Friday, September 29.
East State Boulevard traffic will be restricted to traveling eastbound only between Kentucky Avenue and Alabama Avenue through the intersection. There will be a marked detour for westbound State Boulevard, using North Anthony Boulevard and Lake Avenue.
Crescent Avenue between East State Boulevard and Lynn Avenue will remain closed. Crescent Avenue south of East State Boulevard will remain open.
These restrictions and closures are part of several City of Fort Wayne Department projects to replace water mains, update sidewalks and curb ramps, install traffic signal upgrades, and to replace pavement at the intersection in phases.
