September 29, 2023 - Beginning Monday, Oct. 2, a westbound lane on East State Boulevard will be opened. This change will allow for one lane of travel in each direction between Kentucky Avenue and North Anthony Boulevard. Crews working on the replacement of water mains and lead service line replacements will move to the south side of the street to replace a water main built in 1915.
Crescent Avenue Closure: Crescent Avenue, specifically on the south side of the intersection, will be closed. This closure is due to ongoing roadwork that includes the installation of decorative crosswalks, traffic signals, and various road improvements.
Suggested detours for motorists on Crescent:
Northbound – E. State to Parnell Avenue to St. Joe Boulevard to Crescent
Southbound – E. State to N. Anthony to Lake Avenue to Crescent
Motorists in the area should plan their routes accordingly to be aware of possible traffic delays and follow any posted detour signs. Access will remain open to all businesses along E. State.
