March 11, 2024 - Purdue University's College of Agriculture will honor City Utilities' Stacy Haviland as a 2024 Distinguished Agricultural Alumna Award recipient at a ceremony on March 8, 2024, at the campus in West Lafayette.
Stacy Haviland, a City Utilities' Program Manager for Stormwater and Sustainability, earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Purdue in 2002. Her membership in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is a testament to her expertise and contributions to the field.
Before joining City Utilities, Haviland used her talents in Community Development, overseeing the design and implementation of public open space incorporated in riverfront development and developing the Urban Trail, a multi-modal connection between riverfront and downtown destinations.
Stacy Haviland is a Master Gardener who has taught several Rain Garden Workshops for City Utilities.
The Distinguished Agriculture Alumni Award, a prestigious recognition created in 1962, is bestowed upon Purdue's College of Agriculture graduates who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in their profession and community.
