May 28, 2024 - Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is hosting two events this week to help the kittens and cats their find homes.
Kitten Shower
Saturday, June 1,2024, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control’s Foster’s Department is having an open house event, Kitten Shower. During this three-hour event, guests will have cookies from Black Forest Cat Café and other light refreshments, participate in games and activities, and learn more about the importance of fostering. FWACC adoption center will also be open during this time. Potential cat/kitten adopters can bring in an item from the Foster wish list in place of the adoption fee; to find the wish list, please click here.
Pop-Up Adoption Event
Wednesday, May 29, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Black Forest Cat Café, 4716 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825
FWACC and Black Forest Cat Café are back with their monthly kitten pop-up adoption. Kittens will be brought in, and potential adopters can also adopt the adult cats already at the café.
Black Forest Cat Café has a $10 fee to enter the room.
FWACC asks potential adopters to bring in a cat carrier if planning to adopt.
To adopt, you must bring a photo ID, form of payment, and be at least 18 years of age. We will have adoption applications there to fill out.
