May 31, 2024 - Brooks Construction has modified their schedule for the intersection of Maplecrest Road and East State Boulevard. Beginning Thursday, June 6, the intersection of Maplecrest and East State will be restricted to one lane in each direction while signal crews relocate signal heads in preparation for removal of the concrete pavement beginning Monday, June 10. The intersection of Maplecrest and East State will be repaved with asphalt. The project is expected to be complete by August 30, weather permitting.
Although this project was scheduled for 2023, it was postponed until the school session ended to minimize traffic impacts.
