Leaders today announced the schedule for the Indianapolis Colts-Chicago Bears “Blue Friday” Rally at 4 p.m. Friday, February 2 on the plaza of the City-County Building.

Schedule of Events

*Mayor Graham Richard and Allen County Commissioners will make welcome comments and read proclamations declaring Friday as “Blue Friday” in Fort Wayne and Allen County
*IPFW cheerleaders will perform

*Tommy Schoegler with Indiana'€™s NewsCenter and Fort Wayne Fusion football players will participate in a Super Bowl video game challenge
*The Fort Wayne Wizards mascot will lead a friendly tug of war challenge between Colts and Bears fans
*Dan O'€™Connell with Fort Wayne'€™s Convention and Visitors Bureau will read his scenario for if the Super Bowl was to be played in Fort Wayne
*Dan Carmody with the Downtown Improvement District will highlight events planned for several downtown restaurants following the rally
*Geoff Paddock with Headwaters Park will highlight the great skating opportunities available at Headwaters Park
*Several local merchants will have food samples available for people attending the rally

Traffic will be restricted on Main Street between Clinton and Calhoun streets shortly before, during and after the rally. Parking is available at the City-County Building parking garage as well as several other parking garages downtown. The event is expected to last around an hour.
