  3. City Collects $4,141 for Hurricane Relief

The City of Fort Wayne collected $4,141 during Hurricane Relief Month, which ran for the month of September.

“We are grateful our community has stepped up and responded with help and generosity,” said Mayor Graham Richard. “Thank you to each person who made financial donations.”

Donations were accepted at all City Fire Stations and all Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union locations.

The proceeds were given to the local chapter of the American Red Cross to assist with the hurricane relief efforts.
