Barks and Mews 

June 17th, 2023 at Purdue Fort Wayne Walb Student Union

Join us from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. for a groovy time at our Barks & Mews Gala to benefit Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control's Angel Fund!
The Angel Fund is what provides our animals life-saving and critical medical care. Being Northeast Indiana's largest open access shelter, we cannot turn away animals brought to us from Allen County - no matter the condition they are in. Because of this, we dip into our Angel Fund almost daily to help the animals that have no other place to go. We are here for them and we hope you are too!
Our 2nd Annual Barks and Mews Gala will be hosted by WANE 15's Emily Dwire on Saturday, June 17 at the Purdue Fort Wayne Walb Student Union in the International Ballroom. This year we are going to move right into summer with a 70’s themed event complete with a dance demonstration and lessons from the Fort Wayne Ballroom Club, dinner and drinks, a silent auction and card pull. Be sure to capture the memorable night by stopping at the DigiBooths selfie booth!

Be with us as we also honor the memory of two of our our long serving and dearest volunteers by awarding two of our volunteers to show our appreciation for the work they do that serves not only the animals but the shelter and our community.
