Howl-O-Walkoween
Howl-O-Walkoween is a fun pet/family event, with a costume contest, parade around the park, raffle prizes, pet portraits, a food truck, adult
beverages, vendors and music!

This event directly benefits our Humane Education programs for the
youth of our community. Our Humane Education department runs solely
off of generous donations and grant funding. It is our mission to teach children
to be empathic and compassionate towards animals, learn about pet responsibility,
dog and cat behavior, and so much more all to help break the cycle of violence
and cruelty towards animals.

Barks Mews

Barks and Mews Gala

The Barks and Mews Gala is a fundraiser for FWACC Angel Fund. The Angel Fund is what provides our animals life-saving and critical medical care. Being Northeast Indiana's largest open access shelter, we cannot turn away animals brought to us from Allen County - no matter the condition they are in. Because of this, we dip into our Angel Fund almost daily to help the animals that have no other place to go. We are here for them and we hope you are too!

This very special event will be taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 6 PM at The Hangar at Kruse Plaza. This event features a silent auction, wine pull, presentations, awards, dinner and drinks, and music!

City dogs and cats must be registered with our department by the time they are five months old. Registration tags are available at our shelter, local veterinary clinics, and HOPE for Animals Clinic. Attach the registration tag to the collar for quick identification should your pet ever become lost. Choose between lifetime and annual registration to comply with city ordinance and to avoid a citation. Register and pay online.

DON'T FORGET THE CHIP!
