Dogs and cats are more than pets, they're family!

And just like any other member of the family, dogs and cats deserve to be cared for and protected. Join Animal Care & Control in developing Pet Emergency Response skills to keep your dogs and cats healthy and safe.

Participants receive a First Aid manual to build response skills and provide guidance in emergency situations until veterinary care is available. Class size is limited, so call now to enroll: 260-427-5508.

Dog or Cat  First Aid manual
Dog or Cat First Aid DVD,
class materials
and class completion card.

Topics include:

  • Urgent care situations: wounds, electrical shock, eye, paw, and ear injuries

  • Administering medications

  • Managing breathing or cardiac emergencies

  • Preparing for disasters

  • Symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies

  • Creating a pet First Aid kit

  • Tips on maintaining your pet's health and well-being

To submit a pet adoption profile, you must do so 15-minutes before closing to allow sufficient time for processing.
