Scout Programs

Combine a service project with our program to benefit the animals!  We always need ground or pate canned food for cats and dogs, puppies and kittens, Sturdy chew toys, kongs, and nylabones are also  important tools we use to keep the dogs busy!

Jr. Pet Care Badge for Scouts - Groups with 8-20 people in 3rd grade or above receive a 60-minute program to meet some requirements of the Jr Pet Care badge. Activities include a responsible pet care video, discussion, and either making enrichment treats or a tour of our adoption center based on available animals and group size.  

Brownies and Cub Scouts - Groups with 8-20 people in 1st or 2nd grade are invited to schedule a 45-minute program to learn safe behavior with animals.  Activities include an animal bite prevention video, discussion, and either making enrichment treats or a tour of our adoption center based on available animals and group size.
